Security - Will my credit card be safe?

Every credit card purchase you make at the Concierge Desk is done through our Secure Server Technology. This provides many security features, including:

  • Authentication : this assures your browser that your data is being sent to the correct computer server, and that the server is secure.
  • Encryption : this encodes the data, so that it cannot be read by anyone other than the secure server.
  • Data Integrity : this checks the data being transferred to ensure it has not been altered.

Before proceeding with your booking please read the booking terms and conditions carefully. These booking conditions incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by Concierge Desk, third parties and associated affiliates (hereinafter referred to as 'The Company/s').

We cannot guarantee concert or show seating or availablity until it is confirmed by our affiliates. If you have purchased seating and those seats have been sold due to limited seating, the Concierge Desk will refund all collected monies. (in regards to those purchases)

1) Bookings are subject to availability. Once confirmed, bookings may not be cancelled, exchanged or refunded.
2) 'The Company/s' is/are unable to guarantee specific seating locations and therefore cannot accept liability in respect of claims made by customers resulting from venue designation or allocation being perceived as below expectation. Travel agents have no authority to make representations as to the quality or location of seating without our express authority in writing.
3) Prices are subject to change without notice.
4) Information, cast and event dates are subject to change. 'The Company/s' is/are not responsible for any cancellation or rescheduling of events or for changes in the programme or performers. In the case of rescheduling of an event, tickets will be transferred to the new date. No refund can be given if the date of the rescheduled event conflicts with other tickets that have been purchased or can no longer be used due to your travel plans or other commitments.
5) In the case of an event itself being cancelled or postponed you will be refunded the amount paid, less the service and handling fees.
6) If an event is cancelled or postponed after it has commenced, ticket holders will not have the right to exchange or receive a refund on tickets.
7) 'The Company/s' event ticket prices include: Premium seating charge placed on each seat by ticket agency, booking fees, promoter's fees where applicable and GST. A handling/or transaction fee is also charged per booking, this fee is not included within the ticket price. GST does not apply to event tickets purchased for events outside of Australia.
8) 'The Company/s' reserves the right to charge an administration fee if a lost ticket voucher needs to be issued or arranged.
9) 'The Company/s' is not responsible for issues arising at the performance relating to venue / performance or the behaviours of other patrons.

Accommodation:

In many cases we are acting as disclosed agents for a third party supplier and in each of these cases your contract is between you and them. You will be subject to their terms and conditions and you must read these before proceeding with your order.

  1. Our website or confirmatory notification will inform you with whom your contract is made - in some cases it will be conciergedesk.com.au (Called Concierge Desk), in other cases it will be a third party where Concierge Desk is acting on its behalf.
  2. Where your contract is not with Concierge Desk but with another third party such as a tour operator, events company or hotels etc.., Concierge Desk may pass on your credit card and any other essential booking details to that third party. The placing of an order for any goods or services by you will constitute consent to us passing on such details.
  3. All advertised hotel rates are per room per night unless otherwise stated, these will change from time to time depending on the Hotel and or third party. We have no control over Hotel rates and or other third parties actions and accept no responsibility for any rate changes.
  4. Once an accommodation booking is completed on the site, there is no refund or transfer of funds possible if cancelled and/or unused. If the hotels separately make an exception they have the right to do so less a late booking fee.
  5. Concierge Desk sells hotel accommodation from an inventory supplied by each hotel and does not over-sell that inventory.
  6. Concierge Desk cannot accept any liability for unavailability of rooms caused by the hotel over-selling its own inventory.
  7. Concierge Desk will receive a payment from hotels for the provision of the Concierge Desk booking service.
  8. Prices of Australian and New Zealand Hotels include GST
  9. Concierge Desk is unable to view all hotels that it displays on the site and relies on information supplied to us by the individual Hotels including star ratings and visual images. Therefore any variance in quality from the information supplied to us by the Hotel is not the responsibility of Concierge Desk.
  10. Concierge Desk is not responsible for any unclean or inferior rooms booked and will not enter into a compensation claim.
  11. Costs of international products or services may be subject to currency fluctuations and local taxes
  12. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Most hotels accept these major credit cards to guarantee the room
  13. We have no control over third party policies, therefore, we accept no liability or responsibility for any loss of funds from any Travel Supplier, Third Party Agent, Hotel staff or Management.
  14. Concierge Desk presents information on the site supplied by third parties who will in all cases be mentioned in the booking confirmation. We are not the operator of any holiday program and we are not liable for any variances in quality from the information supplied to us by the Holiday provider.
  15. Orders placed online may require confirmation from the supplier and in all cases it is necessary to check the Concierge Desk email confirmation for the status of your order.
  16. Specifically with regard to activities (including all activity products and services) purchased on the site the following conditions apply:
    • The majority of activity products are weather dependant and may be cancelled in the case of bad weather. In such instances, the supplier will endeavour to reschedule the booking to accommodate customers. conciergedesk.com.au accepts no responsibility for refund or exchange should the customer be unable to attend a re-scheduled activity.
    • conciergedesk.com.au accepts no responsibility for any loss or injury to persons or property as a result of participating in any of the activities purchased on this site.
    • conciergedesk.com.au does not guarantee the availability of any of the activities advertised on the site. Some of these are sold as vouchers only and may be redeemed on the first available date as decided by the supplier. Please read all advertised details carefully, as they may change from time to time.
    • Activities advertised via this site could be hazardous to your health - If you have any pass or current Health related problems please seek medical advice before partaking in any outdoor and or vigorous activities. conciergedesk.com.au accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury to persons or property from using these activities.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia and any courts, which may hear appeals from those courts

User Agreement
AFII Pty Ltd and all associated companies (including “Concierge Desk”) (called the service provider) will act in accordance with the privacy act at all times and will not reveal your personal details to any other third parties outside our working affiliates who offer their services via our website and or through our call centers / services.

Comments by Users Are Not Endorsed by Service Provider Service Provider does not necessarily endorse, support, sanction, encourage, verify, or agree with the comments, opinions, or statements posted on discussions or related to; forums, advertising, seminars, business services, chats, travelog or otherwise contained in the Service. Nor does Service Provider or its third party service providers make any warranties with respect to any of the merchandise featured or mentioned on the Service. Any information or material placed online, including advice and opinions, are the views and responsibility of those who post the statements or those who actually sell any merchandise, and do not necessarily represent the views of Service Provider or its third party service providers.

THE TYPE OF INFORMATION Concierge Desk COLLECTS
Concierge Desk generally collects personally identifying information with your specific knowledge and consent. For instance, when you complete a survey, make a purchase, subscribe to our magazines, subscribe to our newsletters or
register for any portion of our services, you are asked to provide information such as your e-mail address, name or phone number. Optional information such as your age or gender may also be requested.

HOW Concierge Desk USES INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU
Concierge Desk uses this information to provide you with the service you have requested. For example, if you subscribe to any of our magazines, we may use your e-mail address to send you a confirmation notice and your mailing address to send you your magazine. If you make travel related purchases such as airline tickets, hotel reservations or car rentals, our affiliates will use

We also allow access to our database by third parties that provide us with services, such as technical maintenance or discussions/forums software, but only for the purpose of and to the extent necessary to provide those services. And if you choose to purchase items through features on our site, we may forward your information to third parties for services such as credit card processing and order fulfillment. There are also times when you provide information about yourself to us in areas of the site that are managed or participated in by third parties, such as our Travel partners etc. In such cases, the information may be used by us and by such third party(ies), each pursuant to its own policies. KIDS AND PARENTS
Concierge Desk is not intended for use by children, especially those under age 13. No one under age 13 is allowed to provide any personal information or use our private, members site. Minors between the ages of 13 and 17 must get the permission of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before making purchases, including subscriptions etc… on this site.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates for Services and Adventures can be purchased on-line.

You will be taken to our secure server, where you can view the contents of your shopping cart before completing your shopping, and then go direct to the secure checkout to finalise your transaction with your credit card. We will dispatch
your certificate(s) within 1 working day, by either standard mail or express order delivery.

Gift certificates are available for a variety of services. They are valid for 9 months and come with a 90 day exchange, which means the recipient can swap for an alternative experience if required.

Our gift certificates are presented in a professional pack that includes a gift certificate, information on the experience, details of dates available (if applicable), notes on how to redeem the certificate and a confirmation of purchase. The recipient is simply required to call The Concierge Desk to redeem the certificate and book a date for the experience or service on 1800 254 368 between normal business hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. All of our certificates are discounted 'premium' tickets - there are no restrictions on when they can be redeemed (subject to standard availability).

Note: Common Courteousy - With all "Day Spas and Certain Experiences" you must notify the appropriate vendor if you cannot attend the session or the appointed date, 24 (twenty-four) hours before your appointment.

If you do not ring to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before your appointment you and or the recipient of the gift certificate will run the risk of having the certificate cancelled. (All use of the certificate will be made void)

Refunds (Memberships)
Paying Members understand that membership is for 12 months and that there will be NO REFUND for early termination.

Notification for Change in details
I will notify Service Provider by either email or direct mail of any changes in their personal information (Registered on the website) within 7 days of change, otherwise information and deliveries will be forwarded to the existing address.
